To Be Or Not To Be
Martian Mark

Verified Verified Artist

Martian Mark
Mark Martian is one of the most elusive figures in the music world, and his mysterious persona has left many fans wondering—could he really be from Mars?

Known for using the alias Martian Mark during his collaborations, this enigmatic producer has somehow managed to evade the spotlight completely. No interviews, no photos, no videos—Mark is practically a ghost. Some say it’s part of his brand, while others speculate wildly. Who knows?

Maybe while Elon Musk dreams of building colonies on Mars, Mark’s already here, quietly making beats after hitching a ride from the Red Planet’s first neighborhood.

Despite the secrecy surrounding him, one thing’s clear: Mark’s music speaks volumes. His deep house tracks pulse with interstellar vibes, his pop productions are out-of-this-world catchy, and his funk grooves are, well, otherworldly.

Whether he’s blending cosmic synths with soulful beats or dropping funk-infused rhythms, his style keeps listeners hooked and guessing. You can hear his work across platforms, but his music truly shines on Filodyo, where you might catch the next great Martian anthem—if he doesn’t beam it up first.

To Be Or Not To Be

Martian Mark

To be or not to be that is the question
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles
And by opposing end them To die to sleep
No more—and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks

That flesh is heir to—’tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wished To die to sleep
To sleep perchance to dreamay there’s the rub
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil
Must give us pause there’s the respect
That makes calamity of so long life

I’m Not The One
Nico Laurent

Verified Verified Artist

Nico Laurent
Hailing from the sprawling city of Chicago, known for its gusty winds and hearty deep-dish pizzas, the one and only Nico Laurent has been making waves in the musical landscape with his undeniable talent and contagious energy. Born to an imaginative mother who weaved narratives that enchanted Nico's world and a meticulous father whose precision for constructing circuit boards was only matched by his love for the blues. You could say Nico was born to rhythm, melody, and a healthy dose of storytelling. He began his magical sonic journey right there, in the sweet-spot between abstraction and engineering, affectionately known as creativity.

That journey led Nico to pen one of his most notable songs, "I'm Not The One," a tune that dances delightfully between heartbreak and hope, two relatable sides for many of his listeners. His songs mirror his life - filled with textures and nuances - which are as electrifyingly real as the Chicago skyline during a lightning storm. Perhaps it's his mother's storytelling gift that makes his lyrics so compelling, or his father's keen sense for balance that keeps his melodies ringing in your ear long after the song ends. Or maybe, just maybe, it's that cheeky grin of his that makes you think he might know a secret or two about life's grand design. Whatever the case, it's hard to resist the magnetic pull of Nico Laurent and his ever-evolving sound.

Equal parts witty word-spinner and evocative tunesmith, Nico proves that the apple doesn't fall far from the metaphoric tree (and by the sound of it, this apple picked up a guitar on its way down). Nico remembers sitting between piles of books and heaps of cables as a kid, writing stories about robot musicians or sketching out designs for flying guitars, and that imaginative spirit still fuels his music today. So, buckle in and hold onto your hat (the wind in Chicago doesn’t mess around, you know), because Nico Laurent is just getting started, and this is one ride you won't want to miss.

Told me I’d regret it — guess I forgot
Living like a risk you never got
I’ve been spinning hours into peace
While you watch from your retreat

You sip on rules I drink the rain
You dress your truth in borrowed shame

I’m not the one who’s stuck in place
You paint your fear across my face
But I don’t flinch I don’t explain
I dance through thunder sing through pain
You call it chaos — I call it mine

You hold your breath and wait for grace
I jump first I don't brace
Maps never knew my way
Still I find more than you say

You sip on rules I drink the rain
You dress your truth in borrowed shame

I’m not the one who’s stuck in place
You paint your fear across my face
But I don’t flinch I don’t explain
I dance through thunder sing through pain
You call it chaos — I call it mine

Maybe I’m too much for your quiet
But I’m a riot you won’t forget

Keep your calm and curated days
I’ll be gone in brighter ways

I’m Not The One
Sienna Marlowe

Verified Verified Artist

Sienna Marlowe
Born and bred in the heart of Italy, Sienna Marlowe is a singer whose voice echoes with the rich history and timeless elegance of her homeland. As a child, Sienna would trespass into deserted train stations, her little voice echoing off the crumbling walls and intertwining with the rusted whispers of the forgotten railways. Her imagination would paint these forlorn shrieks of metal and dust into an imagined symphony of applause, encouraging her to believe in a world where silence spoke volumes and the stillness of an abandoned platform could become her music's grandest stage.

Passionate and prodigiously talented, Marlowe saw the world through a unique lens, where dreams danced in every corner. Her breakthrough hit, "I'm Not The One," captures this spirit perfectly, weaving a tale of love and perhaps a dash of Italian dramatic flair into an unforgettable, raw, powerful ballad. This song, much like Marlowe's career, is a testament to her innate ability to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary, transforming everyday experiences into melodies that tug on heartstrings and tickle the soul. As a music biographer, you can't help but tip your hat to Sienna, who just might shout "Bravissimo!" at a rust-caked railway track, and you'd better believe it would be the most melodious cheer you've ever heard.

The heart of Sienna Marlowe's story is as simple and as complicated as a rusted railway line - it's about finding beauty in the abandoned, and a voice in the silence. Her journey from that deserted train station in Italy to the glamorous spotlight of international fame is a captivating symphony in itself. Hopping on this train of her musical journey, it's impossible not to sway along to the endearing rhythm of Sienna's life, one that serenades us with the notion that music truly knows no bounds – not even a "Do Not Enter" sign at an old train station.

Trevor Knox
Trevor Knox, the hidden gem of Knoxville, is as much an enigma as he is a melody beast. Like a scrappy pop maestro, he's been serenading songbirds off their branches and sneaking symphonies into supermarket aisles.

Emerging from Knoxville's vibrant music scene like a rhinestone cowboy with a pop music bible, Trevor's zingy hooks and infectious melodies are said to make even the most mundane grocery shopping into an uplifting rom-com montage. An independent artist of many talents, he's in cahoots with the musical magicians of Filodyo - the innovative player that turns mundane shopping trips into musical escapades.

His most noted track, "Gone Too Soon (feat Lyla Grey)" is a tantalizing pop sensation, drenched in sun-kissed harmonies and happy vibes. It can lift the spirits even when you are lost among the maze of canned foods. It's a song Trevor insists was inspired by the sudden end to a two-for-one deal on his favorite crisps.

To hear Trevor Knox's music is to be handed a golden ticket into his quirky, joy-filled world - one where the beat is always thumping, the sun is perpetually shining, and the aisle music never, ever pauses. Be warned though: once you tune in, you might find yourself dancing down the dairy section!

Before I close my eyes
I see a vision of an angel
Guide them into the light
it's either heaven or Jermaine Dupri
This some shit I normally do not understand but it sound good
And do not worry
all that Gucci goin' with me
I swear (Yeah oh)
I know she was destined for greatness (Yeah)
Legend has it you can see her face in the pavement
Gave us s**t we never asked for
I'm thankful but angry
They ask me why I got the AFC in my family
I say "A faded photograph"

A faded photograph (Uh)

All these squares
how could you stare and not get that?
Pen is weapon of the century uh

This town is no stranger to me
No new pastures
Just better pasture memories
Human nature calling my name
Lights goin' out faster than 747's

Summers are colder now
Air feels dangerous
Small town stranger for now

Russian doll suitcase says one thing
That a lifetime of memories could never bring

They say she don't have much
You need weight to float things
Car's filling up

One thing she entertains
Swimmin' in Godlight
Floating down memory lane

Maps and posters
Letters from interstate
She gathers and disseminates
Board her plane
She watches her past
Nothing's meant to last

Russian doll suitcase says one thing
That a lifetime of memories could never bring

A Second Sun
Danny De Star

Verified Verified Artist

Danny De Star
Danny De Star: the name sounds like a headline right out of those glitzy Hollywood tabloids, but the origin story of this dance maestro is planted firmly in the heartland. This homebred celestial body hails from a place people rather unlikely expect: the good, ole city of Nashville, Tennessee.

Forget what you thought you knew about the Nashville. Forget about the banjos, the country laments, and the cowboy boots. Danny De Star spins a different tale, and that tale takes rhythm. Keeping the city's core of boundless energy, but rather lighting it up with electronic vibes and killer beats, he's not your typical country bumpkin. He's got his own flavor of star quality.

No track speaks to the De Star spirit more than "A Second Sun". It's a dance crescendo that has you spiralling into a vortex of good vibes. It shines with all the brightness of, well, a second sun. It's all so dramatic and yet so bouncy, enough to catapult your mood into absolute buoyancy.

Endearing, inventive and cheerful as a confetti burst, Danny De Star takes the dance music scene not with a storm, but with a happy beam of light. As that second sun sets on your playlists, remember: the best stars twinkle from unexpected corners—sometimes they're even summoned from a little city in Tennessee.

A Second Sun

Danny De Star

Footsteps linger where rivers bend
The weight we carry begins to mend
Every crack in the earth reveals
The hidden strength that time conceals

Raise your voice the silence fades
We’re the makers of brighter days
Through the storm and through the dust
We’ll rebuild what we entrust

We are more than what we’ve seen
Drawing colors from the gray between
Every fall a chance to rise
A second sun in the open skies

Shadows stretch but cannot stay
We carve a path come what may
With steady hands we shape the stone
This is the place we call our own

Raise your voice the silence fades
We’re the makers of brighter days
Through the storm and through the dust
We’ll rebuild what we entrust

We are more than what we’ve seen
Drawing colors from the gray between
Every fall a chance to rise
A second sun in the open skies

No more waiting for a sign
We are the spark the new design
Every heartbeat a drum of change
A rhythm fierce a future unchained

Stillness settles then takes its leave
What we sow we’ll soon believe
With open arms we face the tide
A journey shared side by side

We are more than what we’ve seen
Drawing colors from the gray between
Every fall a chance to rise
A second sun in the open skies

Tomorrow sings in voices clear
A melody we hold so near
Step by step the dawn will show
All we are and all we’ll know

Gentle Whisper
Theo Kingsley

Verified Verified Artist

Theo Kingsley
**Theo Kingsley** is a spirited, independent artist hailing from the colorfully eclectic streets of Manhattan. Known for his vibrant soundscapes and captivating lyrical prowess, Kingsley stands as a fresh beacon of musical innovation in the often repetitive sound waves of the modern music industry.

Kingsley's journey into the pulsating heart of music began at a tender age when he traded the traditional toys of childhood for a small, hand-me-down guitar. His fingers found their voice on that six-string stage, and soon, Kingsley, much like his favorite pair of black, worn-out jeans, fit comfortably and inextricably into the music world. His knack for crafting heart-stirring melodies and witty bars eventually culminated in his most well-recognized piece yet, "Gentle Whisper", a deeply evocative track that tackles complexity concealed in simplicity.

Over the years, Kingsley continually defies the boundaries of genre by fusing alternative rock, pop, and velvety hints of blues into his sonic concoctions. His music, much like the delicious bagel at a corner bodega, offers something for every taste. A regular performer at local Manhattan venues, Kingsley utilizes the intimate settings as a canvas to refine his musical flair and keep his connection with his audience personal. He may not be a superstar (yet), but to underestimate Theo Kingsley would be like dismissing a New York slice - a regrettably big mistake.

Gentle Whisper

Theo Kingsley

Bone cold gunshots and rain
Forecast brought me the pain
It won't bleed again

Alone (As we walk through)
The rain (It's forecast)
Whisper (I heard and called)
Your name (Until you came)
These moments (The moments that)
Keep playing (In my mind)
In my brain (Calendar 'til the day)
And as I fade

It'll never be the same again
I never felt this way
I never will again
It was love until it ends
As we cling to faith
(As we fade)

Bone cold gunshots and rain
Forecast brought me the pain
It won't bleed again

How do you hold on
To something that's already gone?
I won't leave you
But I can't stay here for long
A gentle whisper
A gentle touch
A gentle ache inside
At night

It'll never be the same again
I never felt this way
I never will again
It was love until it ends
As we cling to faith
(As we fade)
How many times can a heart be broke
And still fall in love again?
How long can a man hold on?
I'll hold on as long as I can

Brick Lords

Verified Verified Artist

Brick Lords
Hailing straight from the heart of Harlem, the notorious quintet, Brick Lords, has been serving up a potent cocktail of old school rap since their genesis.

An assemblage teeming with character, within this unique ensemble, we find Biggie Bricks (real name, Jamal Thompson), the de-facto leader and lyricist; Lil' Grout (born Angel Martinez), the charismatic hype man; Bricksy Ross (truly known as Desmond Jones), the mysterious trap-lord; Mortar Mike (Mike Johnson in the real world), the laid-back beat master, and Cinder "the Block" Parker (dubbed Clara Parker at birth), the feisty and soulful female vocalist who adds a unique twist to the group's sound.

The Brick Lords was born out of a shared love for rhythm, rhymes, and the raw, gritty atmosphere of their native Harlem streets, baptizing themselves Brick Lords because, well, they were originally just some kids slamming beats and rhymes on brick walls. And just as bricks fit one on top of the other, building something substantial, so too did the Brick Lords build something substantial out of their close-knit group dynamic.

Their music, a delightful blend of old school rap with a hint of modern-day flair, is lauded for its authenticity and palpable energy, resonating with audiences worldwide. Notably, their signature song "What's Going On (Clean)" quickly escalated to become an anthem for their generation, showcasing their genuine artistry while divulging the realities of life in Harlem.

Amidst punchy beats, witty lyricism, and a touch of brick-and-mortar realness, the story of the Brick Lords is as engaging as their music. Resolute in their ambitious deliverance of old school rap, these urban poets have cemented themselves into the solid foundation of Harlem's music scene, and dare we say it, they're brickin' amazing!

Daxe
DAXE is a French producer and DJ whose sound channels the raw spirit of the mid-90s underground Parisian club scene. Known for his gritty, lo-fi French house productions, he builds hypnotic tracks around distorted synth-bass loops, saturated textures, and minimal yet powerful drum machine grooves.

Emerging from late-night warehouse parties in Paris, DAXE earned a reputation for his uncompromising sets that fuse analog warmth with a rebellious edge. His music feels both dirty and infectious — a soundtrack built for smoke-filled rooms, flashing strobe lights, and crowds that never stop moving.

As a producer, DAXE stays loyal to hardware samplers, vinyl, and classic drum machines, crafting tracks that echo the golden era of French house while pushing it forward with his own raw signature. As a DJ, he thrives on the connection between loop-driven grooves and the dancefloor, keeping energy high and tension tight.

His latest track, “System Online”, embodies this ethos: hypnotic, streetwise, and uncompromising — a pure dancefloor anthem. Released exclusively on Filodyo and NOT FM, it cements DAXE as a name carrying the underground French house tradition into a new era.

What’s It Made Of?
LYA

Verified Verified Artist

LYA
“If it doesn’t ask questions, it’s not music.”

LYA (pronounced “Lie-uh”) is a genre-defying artist from Berlin whose roots stretch from conservatory string quartets to the depths of fog-drenched warehouse raves. A classically trained violinist who once performed Vivaldi at age nine, she left formal music behind in her early 20s to pursue something more fractured, more real. What emerged was a sound as delicate as it is defiant—where harpsichords coexist with 2-step beats, and questions matter more than answers.

Her music exists in a liminal zone: somewhere between dance and disassociation, pop and poetry, cathedral and club. LYA often weaves spoken-word passages into her songs, transforming internal monologues into melodic mantras. Vocals—sometimes her own, sometimes spliced and AI-shifted—glide over textured layers of cello, muted synths, and ambient distortion. Think: if Imogen Heap grew up listening to Burial and wrote haikus in code.

LYA’s debut EP “Syntax of Sleep” was a quiet cult success among insomniac circles on Bandcamp, praised for its “introspective maximalism.” Her live sets, often accompanied by generative visuals and interactive lighting that reacts to audience movement, blur the line between concert and hallucination. She isn’t afraid of silence, nor of noise. Both, to her, are forms of rhythm.

LYA doesn’t write songs to explain. She writes them to wonder. “What’s It Made Of?”—her latest single via notfm—isn’t just a title. It’s a dare. A whisper in the hallway between thoughts. A reminder that meaning isn’t always the point.

What’s It Made Of?

LYA

Woke up in a sentence I don’t remember writing
(uhhh)
My name’s on the wall
but it’s spelled with a “Y” now
weird

I tried to fold the sunlight into thirds
but it keeps leaking through the creases
Like—
was that ever the point?
(Hey!)
Did we name the silence just to fill it?

A blue cup a red sock a key with no lock
Mom said dreams don’t rot
but I found mold on the corners of mine
(yeah uh-huh)

What’s it made of?
(Lie?)
What’s it made oooooof?
Is this glass or just slow ice?
(what’s the—yeah)
If I bite it will it crack or cry?
(Haha—cry?)
I asked the mirror but she blinked
Twice

My coat is full of exit signs
but none of them point north
I sleep in the hallway between thoughts—
and that’s fine
Or it was
(Was it?)

Someone keeps leaving me notes
in a handwriting I don't remember learning
“Simplify”
“Unwind”
“Don't trust the tulips”

What’s it made of?!
(don’t tell me it’s hope again)
What’s it maaaade of?!
If it’s love why’s it shaped like a chair leg?
If it’s truth
why does it taste like batteries?

Whoa whoa—
Don’t go there
Not now

Best Night Ever
Leo Marlow

Verified Verified Artist

Leo Marlow
Leo Marlow, an artist whose music seems to philosophize the dew on the grass with his songs, began his journey amid the high-stakes intensity of Brit-pop. Launching his career initially as the luminary of a Brit-pop boy band that didn't reach the stratospheric heights intended, he managed to transform his career path in the most unexpected way. Rising from the ashes of a failed group, he learnt to echo his own feelings while showcasing vulnerability, thus crafting a musical legacy that was wholly his own.

Based in the enchanting city of Manchester, Marlow has certainly found his unique sound, a harmonious blend of classic and contemporary. The artist serves as a sonic architect, masterfully constructing retro-futuristic synth landscapes that capture the essence of loneliness universally felt, yet seldom depicted so eloquently in music. The wistful melancholy of his music, tinged by synths, creates an environment as expansive as the cosmos yet as intimate as a whispered secret. His power to convey emotions and experiences with profound depth sets him sincerely apart.

One of Marlow's most notable musical creations is the ode "Best Night Ever". The track serves as an entrancing journey through Marlow's sombre narratives to the sound of shimmering synth-pop. Even whilst conjuring the myriad of emotions embedded in personal loss, "Best Night Ever" paradoxically stands as an alluring anthem for unforgettable nights and the ephemeral moments that make life so magical. It's an apt testament to Marlow's extraordinary ability to portray the human condition through his music, and certainly highlights why his magnificent sound continues to resonate with audiences far beyond Manchester's confines.

Leo Marlow

Three hours at a house party (Three)
I'm so over it (Ooh)

Me and my ****** in the corner (Yeah)
Sippin' our liquor (Yeah)
What we gonna do? (Yeah)
Girl what we gonna do?

And she said
"Don't you worry girl I got a plan
We gonna get out of here girl and
Head to the beach we'll be there by ten
The boys are gonna meet us yeah they're bringin' their friends"

It's the best night ever
We're all together I won't forget
How we turned that *****
Into the best night ever
How could I ever? It's permanent
All because my friend said

[Post-Chorus]
La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la

Three days in Miami
The vibe was right (Ooh)
Damn we had fun (Ooh)
On a Wednesday night
Me and my bitches in a section (Yeah)
At the strip club (Yeah)
Boys throwin' up (Yeah)
It's a real good night

And she said
"Don't you worry girl I got a plan
We gonna get out of here girl and
Head to the beach we'll be there by ten
The boys are gonna meet us yeah they're bringin' their friends"
