I’ve Learned The ...
Steel Rail Riders

Verified Verified Artist

Steel Rail Riders
Steel Rail Riders is a Southern Rock band born from the grit and sweat of the Alabama railways. The six-member group, all of whom worked as railway engineers and conductors, first met while maintaining the rail lines that snake through the rugged landscapes of the Deep South.

It was on these long, solitary shifts, where the clanging of steel and the hum of train engines created an unexpected symphony, that the idea for the band was sparked. They were ordinary men with extraordinary stories, bound together by a love for music that echoed the spirit of the South—raw, soulful, and full of heart.

The group, led by frontman Jack "Steely" Carter (35), includes lead guitarist Eli Greene (42), bassist Sam "Wheels" Wilkins (40), drummer Tucker Reynolds (31), rhythm guitarist Bo Miller (45), and keyboardist Lucas "Luke" Hayes (28).

Their bond grew after a life-altering incident when one of their crew, and close friend, was tragically killed in a railway accident. The accident forced them to reconsider their paths, fueling their determination to pursue their shared dream of music.

Through grief and hardship, Steel Rail Riders was born—not just as a band, but as a tribute to the friend they lost and the working-class struggles they knew so well.

Now, they pour their experiences into every song, blending heartfelt Southern rock with stories of life, loss, and survival. Living in the small town of Montgomery, Alabama, Steel Rail Riders has grown from local bar gigs to becoming a rising force in the Southern Rock scene.

With powerful, gritty vocals from Jack and the soulful twang of Eli's guitar, their music carries the soul of the railroads, leaving a trail of heartfelt stories wherever they perform. Their journey from the rails to the stage has become the heart of their sound, and they continue to carry the spirit of hard work and brotherhood in every note.

I’ve Learned The Game

Steel Rail Riders

I’m walking down a road so cold
The minutes slip as I watch them go
Nothing here but quiet below
These empty streets they never get old

I’m not lost just lookin' round
Searchin’ where I can’t be found

Lonely winds they call my name
Can’t stay still I’ve learned the game
(I’ve learned the game)
Run to where the silence sings
Time to find what freedom brings

Broke the chains that held me tight
The stars they light the endless sky
Questions burn as I wonder why
Through the dark I found my light

I’m not lost just lookin' round
Searchin’ where I can’t be found

Lonely winds they call my name
Can’t stay still I’ve learned the game
(I’ve learned the game)
Run to where the silence sings
Time to find what freedom brings

Through the noise I hear a sound
Peace is something I have found

Lost or found I’m still around
Lost or found I’m still around

What’s Real
Evelyn Allen

Verified Verified Artist

Evelyn Allen
Evelyn Allen is a rebellious and unapologetically raw artist from Bristol, known for her gritty, underground sound and a life story that’s anything but ordinary. With a troubled educational history, Evelyn never quite fit into the mold society tried to force her into. She bounced from one school to the next, always seen as the misfit who couldn’t be tamed. But it was in those moments of chaos that she found her voice, one that refused to be silenced by authority or convention.

Her debut single, "What’s Real," isn’t just a song—it’s a confession, a sonic rebellion that digs into themes of identity, disillusionment, and the search for authenticity in a world full of masks. Unlike the polished tracks that dominate the charts, "What’s Real" is deliberately rough around the edges, with Evelyn’s raspy vocals cutting through heavy bass lines and distorted guitar riffs. It didn’t climb to the top of any charts, but in the underground scene, it became a cult favorite, resonating with those who’ve been pushed aside or who feel like they live on the fringes of society.

Evelyn’s music is a direct reflection of her own experiences. She’s not interested in commercial success or fame—her sound is about speaking to those who, like her, have never taken the easy road.

Her live performances are chaotic, raw, and intimate, often taking place in dive bars or hidden venues where the walls sweat and the crowd is as unpredictable as she is. In a world full of polished perfection, Evelyn Allen stands out by embracing the messiness of life and turning it into art, making her one of the most genuine voices to emerge from Bristol’s underground music scene.

What’s Real

Evelyn Allen

I’m walkin’ that tightrope
edge of the dawn
Feet barely touchin’
where the night drags on
Stars hang above
but they don’t shine bright
It’s like I’m awake
but I’ve lost my sight

Can’t tell if it’s real or a game
Driftin’ in and out of the same

What’s real? What’s pretend?
(Can’t find the end)
I’m stuck no divide
Where’s the dream?
Where’s the line?
(Where do I hide?)
Can’t break free
lost my mind
Can’t break free
lost my mind

Chasin’ the shadows that dance on the wall
I reach out to grab 'em but they always fall
The mirror reflects what I don’t understand
Am I still here or am I just sand?

Can’t tell if it’s real or a game
Driftin’ in and out of the same

What’s real? What’s pretend?
(Can’t find the end)
I’m stuck no divide
Where’s the dream?
Where’s the line?
(Where do I hide?)
Can’t break free
lost my mind
Can’t break free
lost my mind

The night plays tricks on the eyes
Truth is wearin’ a disguise

Keep walkin’ that fine thin line
One day I’ll cross find time

Runnin' Wild

The Syrphids

The swing creaks in the yard long since rusted down
We raced the wind 'til the sun hit the ground
The world was small but it felt so wide
Every secret path we would try to hide

Those days they fade but linger still
Like echoes soft behind the hill

We were runnin' wild barefoot in the rain
No thought of tomorrow no sense of the pain
Laughter in the distance calling our names
Time moved slow but it slipped away

The treehouse crumbled the paint peeled thin
But we climbed it high just to feel the wind
We told ourselves we’d never leave
But dreams grow up just like the trees

Those days they fade but linger still
Like echoes soft behind the hill

We were runnin' wild barefoot in the rain
No thought of tomorrow no sense of the pain
Laughter in the distance calling our names
Time moved slow but it slipped away

The road ahead is paved with change
But those roots they still remain

The swing creaks in the yard but we’ve moved on
Still hear the laughter though the days are gone

Missing You

Missing You

Daryl Dupont

Since you left the days are long
Every moment feels so wrong
Memories they haunt my mind
In your love I'm still confined

Missing you with every breath
Feeling lost like a theft

Heart is aching you're not here (oh it's breaking)
Wishing you could be near (always missing)
Every night I dream of you (dreaming of you)
In my heart it's always true (always true)

Empty rooms and silent halls
Ghosts of our old midnight calls
Photos blur but not the ache
In my dreams you never wake

Time moves but I'm still here
Waiting for you my dear

Time moves but I'm still here (I'm here)

Hush

Hush

Jasper Reez

Tears fall like rain can't stand to see you cry
Every drop you shed worth more than the sky
Hold on tight we'll make it through this storm
Better days ahead in my arms you'll be warm

Wipe away those fears see the sun will rise
In your darkest moments I'll be by your side

Hush just believe everything will be alright
Close your eyes tomorrow brings the light
Hush you'll see we'll find our way tonight
Better days are waiting hold on tight

Broken dreams and shadows they won't last long
With every step we take we grow more strong
Pain will fade away love will always stay
Trust in us we'll find a brighter day

Wipe away those fears see the sun will rise
In your darkest moments I'll be by your side

Hush just believe everything will be alright
Close your eyes tomorrow brings the light
Hush you'll see we'll find our way tonight
Better days are waiting hold on tight

When the night is cold and you're feeling all alone
Remember I'm right here you are not on your own
Together we can face whatever comes our way
Promise you my love we'll see a brighter day

Hush just believe everything will be alright
Close your eyes tomorrow brings the light
Hush you'll see we'll find our way tonight
Better days are waiting hold on tight

Hush my love no more tears to cry
We'll face the world together you and I

Cordoba Crooners

Calles de Mi Barrio

Cordoba Crooners

Themis

Jasper Reez

She walks alone a cane in hand
Silent whispers on this land
Her eyes are closed yet she can see
The path of life a mystery

Through shadows deep she finds her way
Balancing scales in night and day
(yes night and day)

Blind she walks the road so long
With every heartbeat right from wrong
Her cane a scale in her grasp tight
The dog her conscience through the night

A dog by her side a faithful guide
Barking truths she cannot hide
Each step she takes the world in sway
Justice seeks its perfect day

Through shadows deep she finds her way
Balancing scales in night and day
(yes night and day)

Blind she walks the road so long
With every heartbeat right from wrong
Her cane a scale in her grasp tight
The dog her conscience through the night

In the darkness she sees the light
In the silence she hears the fight
Through the chaos finds the peace
In every trial a sweet release

We’ll Never Hide

Dan Clark JR

A glimmer of hope in the darkest of days
Finding our way through the mist and the haze
Holding our dreams as we reach for the skies
Together we'll rise no more goodbyes

Feel the strength it’s in our hands
Believe in tomorrow take a stand

We’ll shine through the night
With hope as our guide
Hearts full of light
We’ll never hide

Through every storm we’ll find a way
Sunrise will come to brighten our day
Hand in hand we’ll conquer the fears
With hope in our hearts wiping the tears

Feel the strength it’s in our hands
Believe in tomorrow take a stand

We’ll shine through the night
With hope as our guide
Hearts full of light
We’ll never hide

Together we’ll face what comes our way
Hope will lead us come what may

Feel the strength it’s in our hands
Believe in tomorrow take a stand

We’ll shine through the night
With hope as our guide
Hearts full of light
We’ll never hide

Hope will carry us forever bright
Guiding our way through every night

The Sweetest Tornado
Blake Felton

The Sweetest Tornado

Blake Felton

She blows into town on a street bike
With her hair done up in cornrows
Gets off the gas like a hot dam
Wearing all pink head to toe

She steps into the bar like a cannonball
All the folks turn around like an old saw
She orders three shots
Honey on the rocks
And a Manhattan in her straw

She ain't here for long but she still shows
People come and go but she always knows
She ain't one for crowds and she never bows
But she still sold every row

Said a bad word one time in a nightclub
Said "Oops
That's too far"
Always says thank you to the bartender
Always says "Please
" "Oops
That's too far"

She steps into the bar like a cannonball
All the folks turn around like an old saw
She orders three shots
Honey on the rocks
And a Manhattan in her straw

She ain't here for long but she still shows
People come and go but she always knows
She ain't one for crowds and she never bows
But she still sold every row

The summer nights
They call her name
The winter months
They call in vain
When she's there
People can't complain
The streets are flooded from the rain

She ain't here for long but she still shows
People come and go but she always knows
She ain't one for crowds and she never bows
But she still sold every row
